G.O.D. original playlist (by Adrián de Alfonso)00:43mins.
Good Object’s first playlist was created by Adrián de Alfonso, musician, performer, ex-owner of a library, and all-round interesting, talented human. A personal friend of the house, he was requested to do our first of music compilation. With a short descriptive text, (to no-one’s surprise) he intuitively captured the ethos of the project and found the sounds for it. Reciprocally, the creation of many of its perceivable parts (objects, photography, website) happened with this playlist as its soundtrack. As an insatiable music collector, Adrián’s approach to creativity aligns with G.O.D.’s: connecting with someone else’s work is as important as creating one’s own- two indivisible acts of mutual feedback. Go to the link in bio to listen to this funny, weird, exquisite music selection.
About his work: Adrián de Alfonso, formerly known as Don The Tiger, is a musician opening a dialogue between places and the collective FM radio diffusion possible in them. His performances transfigure sources such as flamenco, copla, bolero, tango or sardana through unhinged sampling/midi techniques, stripped-down chanting, musique concrète outbursts and outlandish operatic procedures.
